rates and if there is a climatic event.
The parameters most closely monitored in natural environments are dissolved oxygen, turbidity, pH, conductivity and temperature, which are indicators of the ecological status of a watercourse or groundwater body. In the event of heavy rainfall or construction work in the vicinity, monitoring turbidity and suspended solids becomes critical in order to anticipate the impacts on water resources.
