Our CSR commitments and sustainable performance
Since October 2025, Aqualabo has been engaged in a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) approach structured in accordance with the European VSME standard.
This commitment reflects our determination to integrate environmental, social and governance issues across all our activities in a concrete and measurable way. It is part of a long-term vision aimed at developing sustainable, responsible and transparent performance for the benefit of customers, partners and employees.
A structured CSR approach managed over the long term
An operational CSR action plan will be rolled out from June 2026. It will aim to reduce environmental impacts, improve quality of life at work and strengthen responsible practices with partners. This approach will lead to certification through the REXCELYS label, for which Aqualabo already holds a certificate of commitment.
The CSR policy will be overseen by management, with a dedicated coordinator responsible for its coordination and operational follow-up. An in-depth analysis of priority issues has made it possible to identify the most significant impacts linked to our activities and to define improvement areas consistent with our corporate strategy. To ensure structured and measurable management, a set of key indicators is currently being deployed, covering social, environmental and governance dimensions and enabling regular assessment of the progress achieved.
Understanding the VSME standard
The Voluntary Standard for non-listed micro-, small- and medium-sized undertakings (VSME) is a European sustainability reporting standard intended for non-listed companies, especially SMEs.
This framework helps identify, structure and communicate ESG impacts within a framework proportionate to the size of the organisation. It is part of a broader movement to strengthen transparency in sustainable practices across Europe. By choosing this framework, Aqualabo is adopting a recognised structure suited to its size while also anticipating future European regulatory developments.
REXCELYS label
The Rexcelys® label assesses both corporate social responsibility and the company’s overall performance.
It is based on a sustainable performance approach that is compatible with all the improvement systems already in place.
This independent label provides a mark of credibility, as it confirms that our approach is based on a structured, auditable and recognised framework, rather than being limited to a simple statement of intent.
A CSR approach aligned with our ISO 9001 certification
Aqualabo is ISO 9001 certified, the international quality management standard. This certification provides our company with an internationally recognised framework that attests to the quality of its organisation and its commitment to controlling its processes.
Our CSR commitment naturally fits within this continuity. While ISO 9001 governs the quality and efficiency of our operations, the CSR approach extends this requirement to environmental and social dimensions.
